The Outlaw Aircooled Racers Group has just been formed to bring a simple solution to putting the FUN back into VW drag racing.  The mission of OARG:

For Racers. By Racers
Keep It Simple. Race Heads-Up.  Have Fun!

May 2nd, 2010
Dallas Raceway, Crandall Texas (just a few minutes south east of Dallas)

Classes:
Outlaw VW

A true Run What You Brung Drag Racing Class with minimum rules

Unlimited Street South

Proving who has the Fastest Street-driven VW in all the land.

Payouts*:

Outlaw - $1000 Winner, $500 Runner-Up, $250ea Semi-Finalists

Unlimited Street - $1000 Winner, $500 Runner-Up, $250ea Semi-Finalists

* Minimum 8 car fields.  Does not include cash and other prizes paid out by OARG.  See website for details.

I know its been awhile since I last updated, but I've been busy burning the candle at both ends, so to speak...

Anyway, we are less than a month away from our shin-dig, and I have some AWESOME updates to share:
1) I am please to announce, that in addition to the Outlaw and Unlimited Street classes at our May 2nd event, we will also be having a King of the Outlaws shoot-out! Scott @ TurbosDirect (http://www.turbosdirect.com) is providing the $200* for the Winner-Take-All, one pass, one winner, shoot-out between the winner of Outlaw and the winner of Unlimited Street!
